What We’re Looking For:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI level required)
- Experience supporting students with hearing impairments and/or significant communication challenges
- Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not required
- Flexible approach to hybrid/in-person scheduling, with reliable availability for at least four on-site days weekly
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusion, equality, and accessibility
What You’ll Do:
- Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using sign language and interpreting services
- Support students’ participation in classroom and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate closely with teachers and special education teams to provide seamless interpretation and advocacy
- Assist with student evaluations within the expanding program
