Essential Duties
- Provide interpreting services in academic and school-related settings
- Facilitate effective communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Support student access to curriculum and classroom instruction
- Maintain accurate and professional communication standards
Qualifications
- Required Illinois credentials for educational interpreters
- Strong knowledge of sign language and interpreting techniques
- School-based experience preferred
- Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments
