Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) | Port Orchard, Washington

Qualifications:
- Must hold certification as an Educational Interpreter
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 interpreting services for a student, supporting classroom participation and peer interaction
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to adapt content and activities as needed
- Facilitate understanding of curriculum and daily communications, ensuring access and equal opportunity
- Monitor student engagement and progress, responding flexibly to changing needs
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality at all times
