Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Seattle, Washington

Qualifications:
- Certified Educational Interpreter credentials required
- Proficiency in American Sign Language and translating in educational settings
- Previous experience working with students or in a school environment strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and support personnel
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one sign language interpretation for a designated student throughout the school day
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the student, teachers, and peers
- Adapt interpreting techniques to meet individual student needs and classroom situations
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interpreting contexts
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with educational teams as needed
