- Certification or credentialing consistent with state and school requirements for educational interpreting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person sign language interpretation for a kindergarten student throughout her school day
- Foster communication between the student, teachers, and classmates
- Support the student's ongoing development in sign language, offering encouragement and instructional guidance
- Collaborate with school staff, including the fluent Kinder teacher, to promote a cohesive and supportive classroom environment
- Maintain confidentiality and high professional standards in all interactions
