Job Description:
An excellent opportunity is available for an ARD Facilitator supporting students and special education teams in Schertz, Texas. This full-time position will support one to two school sites and may involve students across various grade levels. This is a specialized special education support role focused on facilitating ARD processes rather than classroom instruction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an ARD Facilitator and a strong understanding of Texas special education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Special Education license, K–12
- Previous experience working as an ARD Facilitator required
- Strong understanding of Texas special education regulations and ARD processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple ARD meetings, timelines, and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate ARD meetings and ensure all required participants are involved
- Coordinate and manage the ARD process from scheduling through completion
- Collaborate with special education teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Ensure ARD documentation is accurate and completed within required timelines
- Support compliance with Texas special education regulations and procedures
- Assist school teams with developing and reviewing appropriate special education services and supports
- Manage responsibilities across one to two school sites as assigned
