Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience interpreting in a school setting preferred
- Able to support students using Cochlear implants, hearing aids, and ALD devices
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Valid licensure or certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
Responsibilities:
- Serve as ASL interpreter for a 9th-grade student during instructional time (excluding lunch/arrival/dismissal)
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to foster student success
- Job share with another Language Facilitator (Fridays only)
- Flexibility to substitute as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided
