A per diem Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services is needed to support K–12 students within a school setting via remote interpretation. This role requires providing effective communication access for students using American Sign Language, delivered through telehealth platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering sign language interpretation services remotely during scheduled school hours

Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Sign Language Interpreter (PEL) License
- Minimum score of 3.5 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
- At least 5 years of experience providing remote sign language interpreting services within a school environment
