Per Diem Virtual Sign Language Interpreter | Illinois
A per diem opportunity is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within a K–12 school setting. This role supports remote interpretation services aligned with school calendar dates, providing flexibility in scheduling and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services remotely for K–12 students.
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals via telehealth platforms.

Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Sign Language Interpreter License (PEL).
- Minimum 3.5 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification.
- At least five years of experience providing remote sign language interpretation services in a school setting.
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and remote communication platforms.
