Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) | West Sacramento, California

Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Sign Language Interpreter certification/license in California
- Possess an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
- Demonstrate fluency in American Sign Language and the ability to interpret across a variety of educational settings
- Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to supporting student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one sign language interpreting for a designated student throughout the school day
- Facilitate effective communication between the student, educators, and peers
- Adapt interpreting style and strategies to best meet the student's individual needs and grade level
- Collaborate with educational staff to maximize inclusion and learning opportunities
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of interpreting within school settings
