5 Sign Language Interpreters
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and qualified Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions offer the opportunity to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in educational settings while facilitating communication and access to classroom instruction, school activities, and educational programs.
This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students succeed academically and socially while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and support staff.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
- 2026–2027 School Year
- In-Person
- 6.25–7.25 Hours per Day, Depending on Assigned Site
Qualifications:
- Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), or equivalent assessment certification, with a score of 4.0 or higher required
- Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional standards and confidentiality
- Commitment to supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpretation services throughout the school day
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, families, and peers
- Support student access to classroom instruction, educational materials, and school activities
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
- Participate in meetings regarding student services and accommodations as needed

- School Site Assignments in the Roseville and Auburn, CA Areas
