Sign Language Interpreter in Citrus Heights, CA

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within K-12 school settings
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- RID Certification preferred; EIPA score of 4.0 or higher ideal (consideration given to those close to these qualifications)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to onsite services for the entirety of the school year
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct sign language interpretation for students during classroom instruction and activities
- Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and staff
- Adapt interpretation style to meet student needs and instructional contexts
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of confidentiality and conduct
- Support academic and social integration of students within the school community
