School Sign Language Interpreter- Tracy, CA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for the 2026–2027 school year in Tracy, California. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one interpreting services for a high school student, ensuring equal access to instruction and supporting academic, social, and communication success throughout the school day.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time
32.5 Hours per Week
Hours: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM
School Year: August 10, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Student Assignment:
1:1 with an 18-year-old High School Student
Qualifications:
Valid California Sign Language Interpreter authorization or appropriate certification required
Experience working with school-aged students preferred
Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreting skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in educational settings
Commitment to supporting student independence and educational success
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one sign language interpreting services throughout the school day
Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
Support the student's access to classroom instruction, school activities, and educational services
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and accurate documentation as required
Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment
