- Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 required
- Qualified to obtain the GaPSC Educational Interpreter Certificate
- Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, ideally in a school setting
- Commitment to 40-hour workweeks throughout the assignment
- Comfortable serving diverse age groups (elementary and high school)
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate interpretation between American Sign Language and spoken English for students and staff
- Facilitate classroom learning and extracurricular activities through seamless communication support
- Collaborate with educators and support teams to ensure all student needs are met
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
