We are seeking two skilled professionals who have:
- A minimum 3.5 EIPA score
- Eligibility for the GaPSC Educational Interpreter Certificate
- Previous experience serving in educational settings (elementary and/or high school preferred)
- Proficiency in receptive and expressive American Sign Language
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering inclusive learning
In this full-time role, you will:
- Provide interpreting services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
- Support classroom learning and student participation by ensuring access to communication
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate effective learning experiences
- Adapt communication style and methods to fit diverse instructional needs and environments
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all relevant policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Both elementary and high school assignments are available, each spanning 40 hours per week in a welcoming, dynamic school atmosphere approximately 20 minutes south of Atlanta.
