Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current EIPA score of 4.0 or higher is required
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working within educational settings, especially with young children, is strongly preferred

- Professionalism, reliability, and a collaborative mindset for working with school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person sign language interpretation services for a designated elementary school student throughout the school day
- Collaborate closely with teachers and educational support staff to ensure classroom content is fully accessible and understood
- Accurately convey spoken language into ASL, and vice versa, maintaining the student's active participation in educational and social activities
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all communications
- Monitor student comprehension and advocate for any additional needs to optimize their learning experience
