This is a newly opened travel opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, working Monday through Friday, 9am-2pm, as a 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter with a high school student. Your skills will directly enhance a young learner’s academic journey, enriching your own as well with every interaction.
Qualifications:
- Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (required)
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in school settings
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Ability to collaborate with educators and adapt to student needs
- Strong communication skills and a supportive, patient approach
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a high school student during classroom instruction and school activities
- Support clear, accurate communication between the student and staff/faculty
- Ensure confidentiality and uphold educational standards
- Work closely with school teams to support student success
