Key Qualifications:
- Valid EIPA certification with a score of 3.5 or higher (required)
- Previous experience interpreting for high school-aged students preferred
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical interpreting practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a high school student during instruction and school activities
- Facilitate communication between the student, staff, and peers to support educational success
- Collaborate with educators to address the student’s individual needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records as required
