Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 4.0 or above, or fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience as a paraprofessional.
- Prior background as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school environment is highly valued.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, teachers, and staff.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, 1:1 interpreting to a 4th grade student within a general education classroom.
- Work Monday-Friday, 7:50am – 2:15pm, for a total of 30 hours per week.
- Facilitate clear communication between student, peers, and educators.
- Foster student engagement and inclusive participation in all school activities.
