Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Gridley, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree
- School-based experience or willingness to adapt to educational settings preferred
- Both credentialed and non-credentialed candidates (EIPA/RID) will be considered
- Strong commitment to supporting student success and fostering inclusive learning environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation in classrooms and school functions
- Facilitate clear communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and their peers, educators, and staff
- Adapt interpreting style to align with various instructional needs, grade levels, and learning objectives
- Maintain professional, collaborative relationships with educational teams
