Sign Language Interpreter in Live Oak, CA

Qualifications:
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Ability to work effectively within school settings
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to student success
- EIPA/RID certification is not required but welcomed
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using ASL
- Interpret classroom instruction and school activities
- Ensure confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
- Participate as a valued member of the educational team
- Support students’ academic and social growth
- Adapt interpreting style to various subject matters and grade levels
- Attend relevant meetings as requested
