Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong receptive and expressive skills
- Experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in school or educational environments

- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate communication
- Certification from national, state, or recognized interpreting bodies is highly preferred

Responsibilities Include:
- Providing real-time sign language interpretation during classroom lessons, school events, meetings, and other campus activities
- Supporting students’ understanding and participation by translating spoken communication into ASL and vice versa
- Working one-on-one or with small groups as needed to meet the unique communication needs of students
- Assisting teachers with classroom communication strategies and offering input to support students’ educational goals
- Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
