1:1 Pediatric Pediatric Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) | Honolulu, Hawaii

Qualifications:
- Valid License as a Sign Language Interpreter
- ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher required
- Experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations in educational settings is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Reliable, professional, and flexible with scheduling needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one interpreting services to support a student’s educational and social needs throughout the school day
- Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, peers, and staff
- Translate spoken language into American Sign Language and vice versa accurately and efficiently
- Assist in creating an inclusive and accessible classroom environment
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
- Participate in school meetings or team planning sessions as required
