Qualifications:

• Active license or certification to practice as a Sign Language Interpreter
• ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or above
• Experience in 1:1 educational settings, especially with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with the unique needs and nuances of school-based assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and student family members
• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and fostering inclusivity

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear and accurate ASL interpreting for a specific student during all classroom activities and school events
• Facilitate effective communication between the student, peers, and faculty
