Sign Language Interpreter in Mooresville, NC

Arrive daily ahead of students to ensure readiness and a positive start for the day.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Minimum EIPA score of 3.5, or RID certification (either credential satisfies eligibility)
- Strong understanding of child development and educational settings
- Ability to adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience interpreting in school environments is highly valued
- Commitment to punctuality and professionalism with mornings starting before student arrival
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for students during instructional time and related school activities
- Support communication between students, teachers, and staff to facilitate full participation
