Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Paradise, CA

Qualifications & Skills:
- Hold certification by the National Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf, or a 4.0+ score on EIPA, ESSE-I/R, or NAD/ACCI assessment.
- Candidates with an EIPA under 4.0 are welcome to apply as ASL Para.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language and familiarity with educational interpretation.
- Experience in supporting students in academic settings is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal communication and an inclusive, student-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpreting for students, peers, and educational staff.
- Assist students with classroom activities and academic subjects, including reading, writing, and math.
- Support the development of vocational and daily living skills.
- Monitor and encourage student participation during classroom and community activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school personnel to meet individual student needs.
