In this onsite position, you will play an essential role within an adaptive classroom environment, working closely with a high school student who utilizes a wheelchair and communicating with students who require comprehensive services.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter, with an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Experience working within school or adaptive/exceptional student classrooms
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a range of student needs
- Commitment to onsite, in-person work (virtual/remote work is not an option per parental request)
- Compassion and patience when supporting students with diverse physical and learning abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation services for high school students in an adaptive classroom environment
- Facilitate effective communication between students, educators, and support staff
- Support students with mobility challenges, ensuring equal access to classroom content and interactions
- Assist with comprehensive services as needed, with potential to work 1:1 once further details are determined
- Uphold confidentiality and advocate for inclusivity within the classroom setting
