Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a student throughout the school day, ensuring clear, accurate communication between the student, peers, and school personnel
- Facilitate understanding of lessons, instructions, and social interactions in both classroom and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt interpreting services as needed to support the student’s goals and progress
- Maintain detailed records of services provided, and participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
- Respect and support the student’s cultural and linguistic needs
