Key Qualifications:
- Must meet qualifications to interpret in an educational setting
- EIPA score of level 3 or higher OR
- RID certifications: NIC, NAD, or Educational Certification (K-12 or OTC)
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing and onboarding requirements as required by the district
- Experience or strong interest in working 1:1 with children or adolescents in an academic environment
- Professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the adaptability to serve across multiple campuses as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality interpreting services between students and school staff, ensuring clear communication and access to the curriculum
- Adapt interpreting style to suit student needs and classroom settings
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district and legal guidelines
- Complete all necessary documentation, including timesheets and onboarding procedures
