Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and qualified Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple openings are available across school sites in Roseville and Auburn, CA. These positions provide the opportunity to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students by facilitating communication and ensuring equal access to educational instruction and school activities.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available
6.25–7.25 hours per day, depending on assigned site
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay range: $34–$37/hour (based on experience, qualifications, and assigned site)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, meetings, and other educational settings
Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
Support student access to curriculum and educational opportunities
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with district and state guidelines
Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
Qualifications:
Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certification, or equivalent assessment certification required
EIPA score of 4.0 or higher required
Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative educational team
