Key Qualifications:
- Current and active GaPSC SLI Educator Certification
- Ability and willingness to complete district fingerprinting requirements
- Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school environment (preferred)
- Competence in American Sign Language (ASL) and adeptness at interpreting in educational settings
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and positive student engagement
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality interpretation services for a 5th grade male student within a general education setting
- Facilitate communication between student, teachers, peers, and school staff during classroom instruction and related activities
- Support academic and social participation to promote an inclusive educational experience
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and family as needed
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policy
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards for educational interpreters

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–2:30pm, following the school calendar
