Qualifications:
- Certification or relevant credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience in educational settings preferred
- Comfort working 1:1 with students who have low vision and are deaf
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and classroom staff
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor to contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ASL interpretation for a 7th grader in all classroom activities
- Support clear communication between the student, teachers, and peers
