Qualifications:
- Valid EIPA score of 4.0 or higher (required)
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school settings
- Ability to work on-site, in person, and collaborate within school environments
- Comfortable working 37.5 hours per week on a consistent school-year schedule
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated, individualized sign language interpreting services for an elementary-aged student
- Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and educators, ensuring access to all instructional content and social interaction
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support inclusion and engagement
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of interpreting within an educational environment
