Available Assignments:
- Full-day position in Vernon Hills, Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm
- Part-day position in Grayslake, Monday to Friday, 8am-12pm
In these roles, you’ll have the chance to work alongside seasoned educational professionals, supporting students who are Deaf or hard of hearing. You’ll also expand your resume with valuable experience in different schools, learning new approaches to educational interpreting, and contributing meaningfully to students’ daily successes.
Desired Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 3.5+ with ISBE Approval, or 3.0–3.4 with ISBE Interim Approval
- Accepted certifications: BEI, ISAS, CI/CT, or NIC with ISBE Approval
- Experience interpreting in school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide American Sign Language interpretation for students and school staff
- Facilitate communication access within the classroom and school community
