Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), with strong receptive and expressive signing skills
- Prior experience as a school-based or pediatric Sign Language Interpreter, particularly in a 1:1 support capacity
- Ability to deliver services virtually with strong technology skills and access to a reliable internet connection
- National Interpreter Certification (NIC), EIPA, or state equivalent credential preferred
- Compassion, adaptability, and dedication to enhancing student learning in a remote environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual, real-time interpreting for a single student to support access to classroom instruction and school communication
- Facilitate clear and accurate communication between the student, educational staff, and peers in a digital setting
