What you need to succeed:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Current national or state interpreter certification (e.g., EIPA, RID, or state licensure)
- Previous experience providing sign language interpretation in educational environments preferred
- Ability to facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and staff
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
