- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Strong commitment to supporting educational access for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation between spoken English and ASL for students throughout the school day
- Facilitate communication during classroom instruction, activities, school meetings, and events
- Adapt interpreting style to suit the needs of each student and classroom situation
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and responsiveness at all times
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure inclusion and equal access
