Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure with the Kansas Commission on Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 4.0 or higher.
- Proficient in educational interpreting for elementary-age students.
- Strong knowledge of ASL and Deaf culture.
- Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families.
- Flexibility, patience, and dedication to student progress in language acquisition.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person ASL interpretation for a 4th-grade student in all classroom and school-related activities.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure instructional access and participation.
