- Professionalism and discretion with sensitive student information
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language to ASL and vice versa for students, teachers, and staff during classes and school events
- Support deaf or hard-of-hearing students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators and special education teams to facilitate access to all academic material
- Assist in IEP meetings or parent-teacher conferences as required
- Adapt interpreting style to meet diverse student needs and learning environments
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district and ethical guidelines
