What you bring:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with previous interpreting experience in educational settings

- Ability to navigate behavioral classroom dynamics with patience and empathy
- Current licensure or certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (required)
- Flexibility to work Fridays consistently and cover as a substitute as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Provide ASL interpretation for instructional times, facilitating clear communication between student and classroom staff
- Support a student acclimating to a mainstream classroom environment after recent transitions
- Collaborate with educators and the other language facilitator for seamless student support
