Travel Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Rochester, Washington

In this position, you will work closely with a high school student and serve between one to two school sites only about 20 minutes apart—providing much-needed access and support. Your contributions will not only directly impact students’ scholastic achievements, but also help cultivate a more inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- EIPA Score of 3.5 or above
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings preferred
- Collaborative, adaptable, and student-focused
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sign language interpreting services in classroom and campus settings
- Support a high school student’s learning and integration
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enable effective communication
- Work Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–2:30pm, Friday 7:30am–1:30pm (Approx. 32.5 hours/week)
- Begin assignment September 1st (for orientation) through June 15, 2027
