Desired Qualifications:
- EIPA Score of 3.5 or above (required)
- Current CDE Authorization (required for SLI roles in Colorado schools)
- Experience supporting students in both special education and general education
- Flexible and adaptable mindset for an itinerant, multi-site assignment
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct interpreting services for students (SPED & Gen Ed) across multiple school sites
- Support individualized learning goals and foster inclusive classroom experiences
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and IEP teams to optimize each student’s access to curriculum
- Document and uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in educational settings
