Sign Language Interpreter in Littleton, CO

The role is fully onsite and itinerant, requiring travel between multiple school sites within the area, providing both full-time and full school year (FSY) assignments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid CDE Authorization required for educational interpreting in Colorado
- Demonstrated EIPA score of 3.5 or above (as required for CDE Authorization)
- Expertise in American Sign Language/English interpretation
- Proven ability to support students with mild to severe needs
- Experience in both Special Education and General Education settings is highly desirable
- Flexible, adaptable approach for working across multiple schools and diverse student populations
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for D/deaf and hard of hearing students in classroom and school-wide activities
- Facilitate clear communication between students, staff, and peers in both academic and social contexts
- Support students’ language and learning goals as an integral member of educational teams
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of an itinerant schedule
