Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong expressive and receptive skills
- Demonstrated experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in a school or youth-focused environment
- Valid national certification, RID or EIPA preferred
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards
- Strong time management and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering accessible, supportive learning environments
- Flexibility to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa for students, teachers, and staff
