Qualifications:

  • Current IL SLI License through ISBE
  • Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in schools preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to commit to the assignment from July 29th, 2026, to May 25th, 2027

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, accurate sign language interpretation for students and staff
  • Support educational team collaboration and ensure accessibility of curriculum content
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to each student’s needs
