Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- EIPA score of at least 4.0 required
- Experience working within school settings or with children strongly preferred

- Strong commitment to in-person, on-site interpretation (remote work not considered)
- Exceptional communication and time-management skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality one-on-one American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for an elementary school student throughout the school day
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other school personnel, and the student’s educational team to facilitate a supportive learning environment
- Translate spoken language into sign language and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times
- Support the student’s participation in classroom activities, school events, and social interactions
- Observe and uphold all school policies and ethical guidelines related to interpretation and student engagement
