Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) | Denver, Colorado

Qualifications:
- EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of at least 3.5, as mandated
- Current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Authorization for educational interpreting
- Experience interpreting in both special education and general education environments preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and work effectively across multiple school sites
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism within the educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, accurate interpreting services for students and staff in classrooms, extracurricular activities, and school events
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school personnel to meet IEP (Individualized Education Program) objectives
- Support student understanding and participation in both academic and social activities
- Maintain documentation and records as required by school and district policies
- Travel between multiple school locations as part of the itinerant assignment
