In this full-time role, you’ll be part of a structured and welcoming DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) program. Collaborate with educators, support students in both DHH and general education classrooms, and develop new interpreting skills and leadership insight through exposure to a highly supportive team. Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation for middle school students in a variety of settings (small group, 1:1, DHH classroom, general education classrooms)
- Work Monday-Friday, 7:45am–2:45pm, following the school schedule
- Collaborate with a dedicated DHH support team and educators to ensure student access and participation
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Participate in team meetings and program activities as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter
- 3.5 EIPA score preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in middle school settings, is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
